Brilliant. I can’t believe they went ahead with the name. Somebody in marketing had to figure out someone would make this joke.

Oh Lord, that was wrong, funny, but wrong. I’d say the people who came up with that name are out of a job, but it was probably Steve Jobs…
I think it’s going to be like the Nintendo Wii: at first, everyone was making jokes on the name but now it’s gotten so old no one even thinks about that anymore.
It’s the first thing I thought of when I heard the name too! Has Steve Jobs ever heard of a focus group?
Perhaps he assumed that only men would buy them and so the reference would never be made. Sexist. Sigh.
At least we can all now rest assured that apple will never come out with a product called iThink.

That’s hilarious. I was just at a conference where there were a ton of women, and they were tittering at the iPad name.
