Hey everyone! I’ve been off in a little reflective mode lately, as I mentioned in my sort-of New Year’s Resolutions post that I was going to be taking stock of my life and making a conscious effort to do the things that make me happiest. The thinking part gummed up my blogging mojo for a bit, but I decided that it was time to report on my progress in some different areas. Continued

So, I haven’t posted much this week, but things are swimming along smoothly in Honey-land so there isn’t much to talk about. Here’s a quick update, though:
After losing enough weight to not feel disgusting anymore, I have kind of been slacking and hovering in the very low 130s for awhile. However, I’m trying to get to the gym more (I think I’ve passed the point where it’s going to drop off simply by eating less, since I can’t eat much less than I have been). I’ve actually been jogging on the treadmill some in addition to going to yoga and pilates. Continued
I am 5’3″ and had a starting weight of 147. I’m now at 132 and have gone from wearing a size 8 (which were tight) to wearing a size 6 (which are very loose). I have been participating in a collaborative research study on walking for the last 6 months, and as a part of their data collection I get a physical every 3 months. I just had my most recent one and was told that I’ve lost 4% bodyfat since June. Without exercise. I look so good my boyfriend now gets hard just from looking at me and has been actively encouraging me to look at engagement rings. Continued
First of all, I mentioned in mid-June that I was starting Weight Watchers. I’ve lost about 14 pounds and just this week was able to start wearing my size 4 pants again. I remember when we started dating I’d always bring my laundry over to his place (I didn’t have machines in my apartment, which was a duplex so I’d been going to a wash and fold) and he’d do it all for me… Continued
So the weekend actually turned out kind of crummy. On Friday, the BF completely forgot that he was going to come home early and cook me dinner, so he came home after 9 p.m. I’d finally given up and had a bowl of sweet pea soup around 8:45 but ended up going to bed hungry. The BF promised that he’d make the fish for lunch the next day.
Well he woke up with a list of errands that he wanted to run…he didn’t get out of bed until after noon, so I asked whether we were still having lunch. Then there was a disagreement about how to cook the fish…he did end up doing it on the grill (which was my preference) but between that and the fact that making lunch didn’t give him enough time to get one of the most important errands (having some dress shirts tailored) done and also we got to the car dealership to pick up our floor mats and wheel covers 20 minutes before they said they would close…and they were closed.
