My last post got so many comments that I thought it would be easier to address them in another post. I want to say that I appreciate everyone’s concern and support – just don’t be offended that I’m not taking any of your advice.
Yes, the BF’s had a pretty shitty pattern of drinking lately. Remember, last year his pattern was to not eat or drink, which is how he got his kidney stone. Personally, I think that a kidney stone is a way worse health consequence than being hung over, and the fact that last week was almost one year to the day as the kidney stone just goes to show how specific his stress is to the summertime. He hasn’t had any alcohol since, so we’re both monitoring the situation and going from there.

I’m feeling much better about the world today, for several reasons:
- 8 hours of sleep, uninterrupted by boyfriends, dogs, or cats (I was aided in accomplishing this task by my friend Tylenol PM),
- spontaneous morning sex, woot!
- the BF doing all my morning chores for me so I wouldn’t be late to work after our spontaneous morning sex, and
- the knowledge that I’m taking the day off work tomorrow to visit some relatives who live nearby.
Thanks for your support yesterday!

Wow! Lance’s kinky sextacular has me all jealous. Though I haven’t been playing durty games in shady hotel rooms on the beach, things have gotten somewhat better since my last post. I’ve managed to sleep off the majority of my new-job exhaustion, and the BF has been really good about trying to get to bed at a reasonable hour even on the weekend. This Monday he even got up for work when I did, which has never happened before.
We’re still not having sex quite as much as I would like, but we are managing to get in some solid nooky in in the weekends (including more pool sex…that thing is like an aphrodisiac, I can’t believe that we haven’t been using it more in the last year we’ve been at this place). We managed to even work in a weekday last week, so I have high hopes that we’re on our way to getting a rhythm in place. Continued
