Well I don’t know about you all, but this week keeps getting better and better.
State Fair Fun
Saturday we decided to go to the Arizona State Fair. This was, I think, the third year in a row that we’ve gone, and as usual we had a great time! We did some of the rides and games, Jake bought me a new semiprecious stone for a metal torque/choker that he’d bought me at the same booth last year (I’m liking this tradition), and – the theme of this year’s fair visit – ate everything in sight. A week or so ago the BF and I joined some friends for beer. These friends are newlyweds, and are very funny to hang out with because they didn’t know each other very well before they got married (maybe a year and a half) and are very open as far as telling stories about their sex life and all the weirdness that comes with living with someone (I don’t think either of them lived with anyone prior to moving in together just before the wedding).

So I’ve been a little lazy now that Lance is back and has such steamy stories of his Mansformation weekend to share, but now that I’ve actually had my birthday, I decided that an update couldn’t wait any longer! When I last wrote, I was excited about a Birthday Sextacular. The BF was more than happy to oblige and we had sex Friday night and Saturday afternoon (extra oral for the birthday girl)…unfortunately, by Saturday evening he wasn’t feeling great and so our Sextacular had to be cut short. Plus none of the presents that he’d ordered had arrived yet, so there wasn’t much else to be done but claim the TiVo as my birthday present and watch whatever I wanted all day. Continued

So this week the BF and I went to Prescott for 3.5 days (he had to go for work and since I start my new job tomorrow I figured this would be the last chance I’d have to get away…and Prescott is about 20-25 degrees cooler than Phoenix so it was a nice getaway). I had a great time! The BF was off working during business hours but I got to hang out with him at night (he was really glad I was there, I guess his work was pretty tedious during the day and he didn’t want to be alone at night), and during the day explore the town and do my own thing.
