I read an article about how jacked our next president is Barack Obama’s workout habits in the Washington Post, and I thought it was fucking cool. For one, I 100% agree with his decision to incorporate 60-90′ of working out into his daily routine. If you read the article, you’ll see that he gets his gym time in WITHOUT FAIL, even when he was on the road campaigning, and that he derives a ton of benefits from working out, not the least of which is good health. You might think that the gym is a bit of a luxury, especially for the President-Elect, but I disagree and think you’re kind of a tool if you don’t want the president to hit the gym regularly. I happen to think that EVERY SINGLE person in a modern society should find the time to do some kind of sport or workout, 5-6 days per week, for their entire lives, no matter how busy you are. Presidents especially. The last thing I want is a lardass for a Commander-in-Chief who could keel over any minute from a lifetime of sitting on his ass and eating fatty foods.

I found this interesting survey on The Frisky: Should your date ask permission before leaning in for the first kiss?
Before I blog my answer, The Frisky did their survey because apparently Barack Obama asked Michelle for permission before kissing her on their first date. This was over Baskin-Robbins ice cream. I thought that was pretty interesting. When I checked the survey results, 53% of respondents said no, he should just read my signals and make a decision vs. 24% that said yes, that’s what a gentleman would do.

Eathan over at idatewhite.com asked me and other bloggers to join in on the topic of Barack Obama winning the election and I had to oblige…my apologies, as this is a few days late.
I Canvassed For Obama On Election Day
On election day I took the day off from “work” and volunteered for the Obama campaign in Orange County. I spent the entire day canvassing (Megan and I managed to cover three neighborhoods) and we even drove a nice older fellow to the polls towards the end of the day. That was one vote for Blue that I can say I was directly responsible for depositing into the Obama account.
