Ugh, Honey, that sounds absolutely awful! There is really no excuse for the BF being mean during snowboarding (when you clearly went out of your way to go on this trip with him), and $600 on groceries is totally unheard of. Really. I don't know what to tell you, but I hope that you can find a way to split your finances with the BF that you can both agree to. Money is important, no matter how much we tell ourselves it's not.

As for the kidney issues... OMG, I really hope you're ok. I'll be sending you healthy vibes and good wishes. It's scary when these things drag on, but hang in there. We're all supporting you. : )

P.S. - Crying is healthy. Let it out. I do it all the time!

Props to you Honey for doing the snowboard trip he wanted. Sorry to hear he made you get an unnecessary lesson! As for the food... wow. I do my veggie shopping at a local produce stand, and it's way cheaper than Whole Foods. No hotties shopping there, but the produce is quality and cheap. I know, I know, I should shop at Whole Foods to meet a woman. But hey, I'm raising teens, I have big stomachs to feed.

I wouldn't let my SO come with me to the store when we lived together either - same thing. He always bought crap for when he got stoned, and we spent way too much. It was like taking a little kid to the store. And he dawdled. So, not only did we spend more, but it took forever. Stick to your guns from now on, and he can buy his munchies solo.

As to the breakdown, I hear ya, sister. Just remember that being sick can do strange things to our bodies and our minds. I've been battling a cold that has morphed into laryngitis that I'm trying like hell to keep from being a sinus infection. I broke down and called in sick today. I started crying on my way home from work last night because I feel like it's all caving in on me - my workload is unreal right now.

Being sick will take the thing that we're already stressed about, and snap that little thread we're hanging on by. Don't beat yourself up. Get some sleep, drink boat loads of water, and take some cranberry pills.

Sending healthy thoughts your way!

Despite my intense hatred of the holidays and a similar breakdown Christmas night, the rest of the holidays and the beginning of the new year have been damn near fabulous!

Hope you get to feeling better girl. You've been fighting this crap so long! Hopefully, your finance plan helps things.

Aw, Honey, been there. Sometime you need that cry, really. But like you already know, money can be such an issue when you live together- boyfriend or friend. I am glad you go to talk about it, and hope you find a viable solution.

In another note, hope you feel better soon, and your urinalysis comes out clear. It is possible that having sex before you went in for the test did affect your results - but I wouldn't beat yourself up about it. Anything it takes for you to be healthy, right? Let us know how the follow up goes.

Here's to this week being much better than the last.
