On the one hand, I definitely wouldn't recommend all 4 out at once...my mouth hurt too badly to eat for a week, and then I had a constant migraine for another week. I am only now to the point where I am not either a) on vicodin, or b) taking EXORBITANT amounts of OTC pain killers. On the other hand, I wouldn't have this operation done again, so it's probably good I got all 4 at once. It would be very, VERY hard to convince me to do this again! As far as sex, the fact that I was supposed to be taking it easy made him insatiable. I have my two-week checkup tomorrow, and if everything's okay then I can start giving him head again. Ordinarily, I'd agree, Nadine. However, since the studies that show the effect between birth control and antibiotics is minimal for the majority of people, and I was continuing to take the pill anyway, we felt pretty safe. However, I decided to take my week off of the pill following the end of my antibiotics and have a period just to be sure. (I take the generic form of Seasonale and would only have 4 periods a year, but I usually skip my week off at the end of each pack and have a period once a year or so.)
