If You Think You Have A UTI, Go To the Doctor!
By Honey on Dec 23, 2008 in Health
So, this post will be brief and explain my (regretable, I’m sure you all agree) absence from the blogosphere of late. Remember last week, when I thought I had a UTI and then offered home remedies on how to fix it?
Well, no dice.
It went underground and resurfaced that Friday in the form of lower back pain, which I thought was weird but which went away after about an hour. Then Saturday it was back…all weekend. I didn’t want to go to the ER, so I waited until Monday and went to the doctor.
I have a kidney infection. I feel awful. I’ve missed the last two days of work, but not in a fun, pre-Christmas, let’s party way – in a don’t eat anything, moan on the couch way. I am on antibiotics and some other things for the symptoms now, but I still feel it quite a bit. I tried to eat twice yesterday and couldn’t, so today I settled for some chocolate soymilk.
Ugh. I should’ve just gone to the doctor…
