Christmas 2009

Our Christmas 2009 was pretty awesome. The best part was hanging out with friends – one of Jake’s friends had us over for dinner on Wednesday night, with plenty of wine drinking and some board games, and last night we went over to one of my friend’s houses for Christmas dinner (and the hostess was Filipino so there was tons of amazing food). Not to mention that my friend’s dad is extremely wealthy and had some projects in mind that led to him asking for Jake’s business card, always a good thing.

On Christmas Eve, we had a sushi lunch and then headed over to Fascinations, where Jake bought me a sexy red Santa’s helper dress with white trim complete with jingle bells, a thong, and a Santa hat (sorry, I couldn’t right-click).

Now, me dressing up isn’t something that Jake’s expressed interest in before (though he appreciates sexy lingerie as much as the next guy), but he totally ravaged me when I tried it on after we got home, so I think there are going to be lots of other sexy outfits for every holiday/birthday in his future! It’s been awhile since we tried something we’ve not done before (like the taking pictures or having sex outside), so this was extra cool and exciting.

There’ll also be another new sexual adventure coming up in the very near future, since I got him a Penthouse Uncensored volume for Christmas. I’m very excited about that since I prefer reading erotica to watching porn, and he is interested in trying something new since he doesn’t usually read erotica. I’m thinking that if I read aloud I’ll be able to watch him get hard, which sounds so delicious to me!

The first of my two favorite gifts was Loaded Questions: Adult Version, a party game where everyone writes down their answers to the same question and then everyone guesses who gave which answer. I haven’t played the adult version before but I did play the regular game at a friend’s and thought it was fantastic fun, but it didn’t end up on my gift list for a long time because we didn’t know what the game was called. Since you need at least 4 players to create mystery about who might’ve given what answer, this is the perfect excuse for some game nights in the new year!

The second of my two favorite gifts was…drumroll please…an original 7-cup Cuisinart food processor. This totally feeds my cooking hobby (get it – feeds my…oh, nevermind 😉 ). Not only have I been talking about these and openly eying them at every department store we’ve been in for the last 6 months or so, I got The Joy of Vegan Baking as a Christmas present from his family, so I’ll be able to make some of the items that require more labor-intensive doughs.

Today I think we are going to go see Avatar, about which we have heard awesome things from everyone except this guy, who is probably one of the funniest bloggers I have read. Do yourself a favor and check it out. How was your holiday?

I saw Avatar in 3D at Waterford and it was outstanding…outstandingly fun and top notch entertainment. Plot is so-so, dialogue and acting blows nutz. 3D and CGI is crazy multiple wows.

Also checked out the Pixar flick Up last week and THAT was an amazing film. I liked it better than Avatar. Prepare to weep like a little girl.

Well, we’re not seeing Avatar anytime soon because Jake won’t see it unless it’s 3D and IMAX, and that theatre is sold out for the next few days.

OMG looking forward to Avatar. Just waiting for the 3-D theater to not be sold out here, too.
