I found Juliet Jeske’s post, Dating After Divorce In a City of Sluts, via the Evan Marc Katz blog. Jeske is a divorced comedian and artist in New York City. She’s starting over in the NYC dating scene and frustrated with how fast things move in the dating world. Her complaint is a common one, that sex happens too fast and guys want to get laid on the first date.
I’m a big believer in fast sex, before any kind of gf-bf relationshop has been established. There are good reasons for this, which I will address in a followup post. For now, let’s go with the assumption that guys want to have sex early and women get pissed when we do. What should Jeske do?

After having had several LTR’s the past few years, I’ve got it figured out how a relationship works. Here it is.
Firstly, my simple model of evaluating a relationship is spot on. There are two components, Companionship and Sex, and I rate them on a scale of 1-10. For me, the sex has to be at least a 9 and the companionship a 6. If I have those two things at those levels I’m pretty much set. I don’t bother overthinking all the stuff that goes into a relationship (communication, commonalities, pets, religion, etc) because those are details and the details are malleable.

I’ve been having some great experiences this year in every aspect of my life, from relationships to sports to business. One thing I’ve noticed is the more interesting experiences I have, the more chances there are for detracting from those experiences or otherwise ruining them completely. I find it difficult to live in the moment and maintain the integrity of the present experience because I have so many things going on that encroach on each other.
Here are a couple of examples. When I go to the gym to workout, I will occasionally bring my phone with me and text or even take phone calls from people. I’m sure you’ve seen people who do that! That detracts from the experience of having a great workout, and may even negate some of the benefits of exercising, such as stress relief. My other relationships are now infringing on living in the moment.

Friday goodness. This chick REALLY loves cats. Can’t decide if I’d give her the Lance business or not, it’s a toughie.

This is my second post on gaming Craigslist dating. The first post is where I impersonated a chick on craigslist casual encounters.
There are a lot of spammers and scammers working the W4M and Casual Encounters sections of Craigslist. I’ve been replying to ads in these sections for a couple of weeks now and I can confirm that it’s majorly shady. I want to share what I’ve found so you can avoid getting scammed.

There’s a great discussion going on at the Rachel Rabbit White blog, on her post GUYS: How to Pick up Women Without Negs or other PUA Tricks. I like pretty much everything on her blog because it’s writerly and addresses some of my favorite topics (sex, porn, etc). I recommend popping over there and checking it out.
If you’re a PUA or into social arts, read the post and comments. I wanted to blog a longer response to one question Rachel asked:
